About Mouhous

Mouhous comes from Jyväskylä and began as a four-piece hip hop group. In 2016 the local newspaper Keskisuomalainen introduced them as one of the newest names in the city’s busy rap scene, under a headline in which the group called itself Finland’s first trap band, when they released their first EP, Crackstreetboys, in digital form at the end of September that year.

Today Mouhous is a trio of Monako (Miki Hankomäki), Van Hegen (Janne Pajunen) and Valentin (Veikko Heikkilä); the fourth founding member, Axel Kala, has left. Their first studio album, I Hate Mouhous, came out in February 2020 and reached number 3 on the Finnish album chart, and Masennust & Massii reached number 2 in 2022.

In Emblem World, Räppii, Seksii & Huumeita sits in the Finland music collection, where people discover and rate local food, drink and music.
