What is an Emblem Passport?

One place, one souvenir, one stamp at a time

An Emblem Passport gathers the Emblems of a city, a country or a theme. Each Emblem is a digital souvenir an artist made for one real place. You collect it by being there: your phone checks the spot, and the souvenir fills its page in your passport.

How a passport works

Pick a passport: In the Emblem app on iOS and Android, or in your browser.

Go to the places: The map shows where each Emblem waits.

Collect on the spot: Your phone checks by GPS that you are there, and the Emblem is yours.

Fill your passport: Titles, partner rewards and a leaderboard for each passport.

Questions

What is a digital passport?

A digital passport is a collection of digital souvenirs, called Emblems, for a city, a country or a theme. Each Emblem was made by an artist for one real place, and you collect it by going there. Your passport fills page by page as you travel.

How do I collect an Emblem?

Go to the place, open Emblem and tap Collect. Your phone checks by GPS that you are really there, and the Emblem goes into your passport. Your location is used for that check only, not kept as a history.

Do I need the app?

No. Emblem also runs in your browser at emblemdigitalsouvenirs.com/app, with the same account. The free app for iPhone and Android is the easiest way to collect on the move.

What do I get for filling a passport?

Titles for what you collect, partner rewards in some passports, such as tickets or tastings, and a place on each passport's leaderboard.

Is it free?

The Emblem app is free. Some passports have a premium edition; the app shows its price before you buy.

Can my city have a passport?

Yes. Cities, museums, festivals and brands launch passports with Emblem: artists make the Emblems, and each one is set at its real place. Tell us about your places in the chat on our organisations page.
