Article text

Watch the film on YouTube . It runs 2:08, with English on screen and Russian subtitles.

The film starts at Expo 2020 Dubai, where visitors collected Pavilion stamps while the artists and stories inside were easily forgotten. Emblem keeps the place, the creator and the story together, so a visit becomes a memory you keep.

What the film shows

The Luxembourg Passport. 41 Emblems by 18 local creators, supported through UNESCO’s Youth for Peace programme with training, mentoring and a project grant. It was Luxembourg’s national winner of the European Charlemagne Youth Prize 2026.

The Yekaterinburg Passport . 11 Emblems by five credited creators and creative teams, at places such as the Stone Flower fountain, Cape Gamayun, the Domna creative cluster and Piotrovsky Bookstore.

Partner rewards . Bernard-Massard in Luxembourg; the Museum of Architecture and Design (UrGAHU), Piotrovsky Bookstore, Kolyada Theatre and the Poverkhnosti ceramic studio in Yekaterinburg. Offers are subject to partner terms.

The People Passport . An independent field pilot during the International Festival of Youth in Yekaterinburg, 11–17 September 2026. It recorded 301 People memories across eight collector accounts, excluding known administrators, and was not part of the official festival programme.

Cultural sovereignty. Connection between cultures without making them uniform, and the long-term vision of a Digital World Expo that never closes.

Why we made it

The film accompanies Emblem’s entry in the Best International Project nomination of the National Award «Patriot» 2026. It brings together what Emblem has built so far: Cultural Passports by local artists, rewards for real visits, and People Passport memories of encounters between countries and regions.

Everything in the film is real Emblem material: artworks from the live catalogue, People Passport screens from the September pilot and partner logos as published on this site. The music is an original score.

Creators shown: Ruth Lorang, Cindy Hergaux, Keong-A Song, Claire Krack, Lola, Léa Breckler, Julie Felten, David Wolf, Thaís Finger, Margaux Soulacroup, Sirah Harris and Lucas Guerini (Luxembourg); Olga Kolbina, Ekaterina Khudeeva, the Domna team, Anastasia Guzii and Kaya Krovka (Yekaterinburg).

One world. Many cultures. Each represented on its own terms.
