The Yekaterinburg Passport is live in Emblem. Its 11 original Emblems are available to collect, while the wider project continues to develop. Each Emblem is connected to a real location and interpreted through an original artwork.
Developed as an independent Emblem project inspired by international youth exchange, it leads visitors into Yekaterinburg’s landmarks, culture and local stories. It is not officially connected to the World Youth Festival. The project keeps every place and each credited creator visible.

Yekaterinburg’s 11 original Emblems connect the city’s architecture, people and cultural identity with real places, with credited artwork by Olga Kolbina, Ekaterina Khudeeva, Domna team, Anastasia Guzii, and Kaya Krovka.
Culture should remain visible beyond borders
The Yekaterinburg Passport reflects Emblem’s wider vision of continuing to showcase the world through its emblem creators, places and cultural stories, even when borders become harder to cross or political circumstances create distance between societies.
Independent from the World Youth Festival and continuing to develop, the project creates a lasting cultural window into Yekaterinburg. Inspired by international youth exchange, it presents the city through its architecture, heritage, public spaces and creative voices rather than only through politics or international headlines.
Emblem believes that political isolation should not lead to cultural invisibility. People should still be able to discover one another’s cities, creators and traditions, including during periods when direct exchange becomes more difficult.
By connecting locally created digital souvenirs within one international platform, Emblem aims to keep cultural curiosity, artistic visibility and human connection alive across borders.
