About this Emblem
Leonard Cohen looks out from under his hat, high above the rooftops and bell towers of the old town. The Emblem is collected at his bronze statue by the sculptor Romualdas Kvintas, unveiled in Vilnius in 2019 and said to be the first statue of the singer anywhere in the world. Cohen never came to Lithuania, but his mother, the daughter of a rabbi, was born in Kaunas in 1905.
