About this Emblem

A single paving stone glows among the cobbles, the word STEBUKLAS, miracle, set in a ring around a star. The Emblem is collected in Cathedral Square, at the tile that marks where the Baltic Way ended: on 23 August 1989, about two million people joined hands in a human chain running from Tallinn through Riga to Vilnius. Tradition says that whoever finds the tile, turns around on it and makes a wish will see it come true.
